Apple wanted to establish an Apple Store in Kungsträdgården, but now the plans have been scrapped and the plot has been sold.

Apple sells the plot in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm to Jakob Johansson's Maelir, according to DI.
Apple bought the site in 2015 and had plans for a flagship store on the site. However, the plans were met with loud criticism and the company has now sold on the rights to Johansson, who since 2019 is, among other things, the largest owner in the shipping giant Viking Line.
"We think the location is good and has further potential," Jakob Johansson tells DI.
