Thon Sverige AB, which is part of the Norwegian Olav Thon Group, has in recent years focused on strengthening its presence in the Swedish capital. The purchase of Lagern 7 is a step in that development.

"We see great potential in the property and are pleased to be able to expand our property portfolio in Stockholm. This is a city we believe in very much, and our second acquisition on Vasagatan,” says Mathias Svensson, Thon Property AB.

Olav Thon Gruppen is owned by the Olav Thon Foundation and mainly operates in real estate and hotel operations. The takeover of the property will take place on February 7, 2025, in connection with the completion of the sale.

The Lagern 7 property was built in 1886 and has been part of the Swedish Union of Journalists' operations since 1983. The Swedish Union of Journalists is a Swedish trade union and professional association.
