The future frontman for PensionDanmark's real estate investments has been found. Torben Modvig will take office no later than September 1, 2025 as CEO of PensionDanmark Ejendomme, replacing Marius Møller, who announced in late summer 2024 that he wanted to step down within the next 12 months.

Torben comes from a position as CEO of the property development and construction company Nordstern, which he has headed since 2019.

Nordstern and the companies behind it have worked on several of PensionDanmark's real estate projects, including Trælasten in Aarhus, Flegmade in Vejle, Retten in Svendborg and Banedanmark's domicile in Ringsted.

PensionDanmark has more than 20 years of history as a property investor, and has a well-established focus on stable returns through the development of innovative urban areas and commercial properties. The total portfolio that Torben Modvig will lead has a value of over DKK 30 billion.
