According to Union Gruppen’s latest report the market rents have decreased by five to ten percent since the peak during the summer of 2014. The average is eight percent.
At the same time there are large differences depending on area. Areas with many oil related tenants are affected the most.
In Lysaker and Fornebo, where there are many oil companies, the decrease is ten percent, while the rents in the city center has decreased with five, according to Union.
Union believes that the rents will stay still during 2016, followed by a small rise in 2017.
The top rents in Oslo – at Akers Brygga, Vika and Tjurholmen – are according to Union NOK 4,500 per sqm (€ 486), while office spaces with a high standard in the same area lies around NOK 3,400-3,900 (€367 – 421).
