Leiv Synnes proposed as new board member of Sveafastigheter

Sweden — The Nomination Committee for Sveafastigheter proposes the re-election of board members Peter Wågström, Per O. Dahlstedt, Peder Johnson, Sanja Batljan, Christer Nerlich, and Jenny Wärmé, as well as the election of Leiv Synnes. The Nomination Committee also proposes the re-election of Peter Wågström as Chairman of the Board.

The proposal means that the number of board members for the upcoming term will be increased to seven members, from the previous six.

Leiv Synnes is the CEO of Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB, which holds 61.2 percent of the capital and votes in Sveafastigheter. Leiv Synnes is considered independent of the company's major shareholder but not independent in relation to the company and its management. Leiv Synnes is Chairman of the Board and a board member for several subsidiaries within the SBB Group and holds a degree in business economics from Umeå University.

The Nomination Committee consists of Lennart Sten, appointed by Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB, Johannes Wingborg, appointed by Länsförsäkringar Fondförvaltning AB, Göran Larsson, appointed by Weland Holding AB, Nils Hast, appointed by Odin Fonder, and Peter Wågström, Chairman of the Board at Sveafastigheter.

The company's Annual General Meeting will take place on May 20, 2025.
