Fastator owns 25 percent of the shares in Företagsparken. The investment will primarily enable new acquisitions and expansion of the company's existing property portfolio. As part of the transaction, Bain Capital is acquiring 15.9 percent of the existing shares in Företagsparken. Fastator has not sold any shares in connection with the transaction.

Företagsparken (Business Park) is a growth-oriented real estate group that acquires, develops and manages high-yielding properties and land areas in urban business parks. The company owns and manages around 250 properties throughout Sweden, from north to south. At the end of the year, the total property value was around SEK 6 billion kronor, EUR 0.55 billion.

“We have had strong organic growth within our existing portfolio and are now aiming to become a leading player in the light industry segment. With the right expertise and resources, we are well positioned to succeed. Together with Bain Capital, we look forward to accelerating our growth journey through M&A opportunities and new acquisitions,” says Angeelica Holm, acting CEO of Företagsparken.

“Företagsparken operates in a segment that has seen increased interest from international investors for a long time and recent months have shown very clearly that Europe needs, and will, invest in local manufacturing to meet the increased need for military and civil preparedness. Företagsparken is Fastator's single largest holding and I see the investment from Bain Capital as something that enables both growth and follow-on investments,” says Svante Bengtsson, CEO of Fastator.
