Platzer Fastigheter has signed an agreement with the real estate company Hub Park to sell the property Högsbo 55:11 in Södra Änggården in Gothenburg. The sale is being made as a corporate transaction. The purchase price corresponds in a first step to accrued costs of EUR 2.12 million and in a second step to the parking garage's share of the development costs of EUR 1.56 million for the expansion of the area. The property is a project property with a building right for a 16.000 square meter parking garage. Hub Park will take over the responsibility and costs for completing the contract that has been started. The new parking garage with mobility solutions is expected to be completed in 2026.

“This transaction is well consistent with our overall focus on owning and managing commercial properties in the long term. It is particularly pleasing that the sale has been completed with a player who specializes in mobility solutions, which ensures a high level of service in the area,” says Marie Teike, Business Area Manager Development at Platzer.

The development of the new district of Södra Änggården in Gothenburg, where Platzer, together with the housing players Bonava, Skanska, Peab Bostad, Hökerum Bygg and Månsson Fastigheter, is developing 1.900 apartments, a school and services, is in full swing. Månsson Fastigheter is building the first homes, which will be ready in spring 2026. Peab has just started construction of its first project, which is expected to be completed in 2027. In the fall term of 2024, the school in Södra Änggården opened with space for 900 students. The school was developed by Platzer and is currently owned by Infranode. Platzer owns additional residential building rights in three blocks and a building right for a preschool, and the company will continue to be part of the collaborative organization and urban development of the area.

“We are pleased to welcome Hub Park to Södra Änggården. Platzer has been driving urban development in the area for just over ten years. Through the establishment of Hub Park, residents in the area will have an easier everyday life and accessibility. I now look forward to the first residents moving in here in the spring of 2026,” says Lisa Häggdahl, Business Developer at Platzer.
