The project was developed and constructed jointly by AG Gruppen and Alma Property Partners. Construction began in February 2023 and was completed during the summer of last year and is now ready to be handed over to PenSam. This marks the second recent sale to the pension fund by the two partners. Earlier this year, the Lyskilden project in Herlev was also sold to PenSam.

Designed with a focus on diverse housing types in green surroundings, Smedekær offers apartments suited to families, young people, and seniors alike. The units have been in high demand and the property has been fully leased since completion.

At PenSam, the acquisition is seen as a major opportunity, with Smedekær marking the first step in the transformation of Hersted Industripark.

The project is located at Malervangen 15, Glostrup - close to Vestskoven and the upcoming light rail station. The Hersted area has been designated by Albertslund Municipality as a strategic development zone and will be transformed into a sustainable mixed-use neighborhood with both housing and commercial areas. Smedekær is DGNB Gold certified.
