Prior to that, Ekberg was Head of Project Development at ICA Fastigheter, responsible for the nationwide development of retail centers, working in close collaboration with both municipalities and private stakeholders. She has also served as a Senior Advisor at Svefa, focusing on strategic consulting and project management within real estate development, and has held roles in transactions, business development, and financing at DAL Nordic Finance AB, RL Nordic AB, and Royal Bank of Scotland plc. According to Stena Fastigheter’s press release, throughout her career Ekberg has distinguished herself through strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to sustainable urban development.
