The apartments in Riksten, within the municipality of Botkyrka, have been produced using volumetric construction technology at Derome’s housing factory in Värö, just north of Varberg. The project exemplifies how industrial timber construction can meet both high quality standards and investors’ long-term requirements.
“The transaction is clear evidence that our product – and the work we put into continually developing sustainable, robust, and energy-efficient multi-family timber housing – is competitive and well received by the market,” says Otto Martler, CEO of Derome Bopartner.
Derome Bopartner and Reliwe currently have several residential projects under construction in the Stockholm region.
“We are very pleased to once again have completed a successful project together with Derome Bopartner. It feels entirely right to transfer the properties to a long-term owner such as Acer Bostad,” says Gurmo Endale, Partner at Reliwe.
Through the acquisition, Acer Bostad strengthens its presence in the Swedish residential market, with a focus on long-term investments in attractive housing.
“We are very pleased to have completed another acquisition of an attractive residential property and to further expand Acer Bostad’s portfolio. The acquisition in Riksten consists of modern and attractive newly built apartments with appealing design and efficient layouts. This acquisition further strengthens our portfolio of energy-efficient and modern residential properties in Greater Stockholm,” says Samir Taha, CEO of Gordion Capital, Operating Partner to Acer Bostad.
CMS Wistrand and Nordanö acted as advisors to the sellers, while DLA served as advisor to the buyer.
At the same time, Derome Bopartner is scaling up its industrial residential construction. The company currently has approximately 1,000 rental apartments under production, with planned construction starts in the near term for an additional approximately 700 rental apartments.
