"These are challenging times, but we are making an aggressive investment in the future by sharpening and deepening our offerings linked to AI, circularity and business understanding," says Maria Persson.

Maria Persson has extensive experience as an architect and since 2019 holds the role of business development manager and has been vice president for a couple of years. Now she has stepped into the role of CEO of Semrén & Månsson Arkitekter with offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö.

"Semrén & Månsson has basic values that lie in the long term, a belief in the power of architecture and always with a starting point in a business mindset. Our culture is characterized by entrepreneurial drive, teamwork and commitment, which I believe is crucial to being relevant going forward. We are strongly equipped with knowledgeable and driven colleagues who want to develop the industry," she says.

At group level, Semrén & Månsson Group is looking to the future by establishing new business areas and strengthening the architectural company, the real estate company Månsson Fastigheter and the algae cultivation company Blue Fields.

"We are in a time of challenges where crises in sustainability and economy create pressures, but we also see great opportunities for positive change both for our company and the whole society. That is why we are broadening and deepening our offerings to continue to be a forerunner in architecture and community building. We look forward to new business opportunities and create, as well as look for, new interesting investments both in the real estate industry and in sustainability," says Ulrika Liss-Daniels, now deputy CEO of the parent company Semrén & Månsson Group.

Creating a vision for the future is absolutely crucial to continue developing in times of uncertainty, states Magnus Månsson, architect and CEO of Semrén & Månsson Group:

"The group's forward focus aims to prepare for the time after the recession, and with competent leaders like Maria Persson and Ulrika Liss-Daniels, I have strong faith in the future."
